New Delhi: As the anticipation builds up around Samsung's upcoming Galaxy S6 smartphone , a latest report has claimed that flagship device will include a range of Microsoft apps.
SamMobile source has revealed that Samsung will pull out a lot of its usual pre-installed apps and make the Galaxy S6 lighter with Microsoft apps like Office, OneDrive, OneNote and Skype.
Other speculations doing the rounds also suggest that the Samsung S6 will have a three-sided spill display and the company will unveil it during its Galaxy Unpacked event at the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2015 (MWC) in Barcelona.
Samsung Galaxy S6 to include Microsoft's apps: Report
Samsung is speculated to include Microsoft's popular apps like Office, OneDrive, OneNote and Skype in the Galaxy S6 and take out some of the pre-installed apps.
Samsung's earlier take at the side display was seen in its Galaxy Note Edge smartphone that featured a main display curving around the right edge of the phone to create a side display for notifications and one-tap access to apps, headlines and tasks.
With its slumping sales in the smartphone market, the curved screen is touted to help rekindle buyer-interest in Samsung smartphones.
Analysts say Samsung is under immense pressure to hang on to its market share, with a lot resting on the launch of its next flagship Galaxy S6 high-end smartphone due around March. It will need to ensure that the phone does not disappoint in order to keep its global market share from slipping further.
